Introducing AKS Automatic

Configuring Azure Kubernetes Service can be daunting due to the vast array of options for configuring our cluster. AKS Automatic offers engineers a solution that simplifies the deployment and configuration of your AKS cluster by taking care of everyday tasks like node management, scaling, security, and monitoring, all while following AKS's well-architected best practices.

In this session, we'll compare AKS Automatic to standard AKS clusters, explore how AKS Automatic implements scaling, networking, and security, discuss some preview limitations, and discuss how we can deploy applications to our AKS Automatic clusters.

Will Velida is a Lead Software Engineer at Mantel Group, where he helps customers build reliable and resilient applications using Microsoft Azure. He loves using serverless and container technologies. He has extensive experience in software development and building solutions in the financial, health, and agricultural industries.

Will is also a Microsoft Azure MVP focusing on Cloud Native Technologies.

Light-speed deployments with Container Apps

Azure provides multiple options for running container workloads. One of the newer and sadly underrated options is Container Apps.

In this session, Jerome will demonstrate why Container Apps should be front of mind for container deployments due to the speed and agility they provide developers and organisations.

Jerome is a Principal Consultant with Mantel Group. With nearly a decade of experience in Azure infrastructure design and delivery, he relishes the opportunity to solve problems with technology.
