Governing AI in the Enterprise: Purview, Copilot Security & Data Protection
Details
Microsoft Copilot and enterprise AI adoption are accelerating — but most organisations are deploying AI faster than their governance, data protection, and security controls can keep up with.
IT Pros and Security Architects are now on the hook for managing AI-related data exposure, permission sprawl, and compliance gaps — often without a clear framework.
In this session, we cut through the hype and focus on what controls actually matter, with live demos showing how Microsoft Purview, Entra ID, and Defender work together to govern AI safely.
Susantha Silva is a Senior Cloud Security Solutions Architect with over 18 years of Microsoft security expertise, operating across the APAC and MEA regions from his base in Auckland, New Zealand.
He specialises in helping enterprises design, assess, and strengthen their cloud security posture through Microsoft-native technologies.
