As a regular contractor across a series of business contracts, I’ve walked where you are, fully in office and remote. I know the grind of working in contracts of 3, 6, 9 and 12 months, and the search for a work life balance with hybrid flexibility and influence.
To get to where you’re going you need to invest in yourself, just as I have. By learning people skills and hearing from other speakers, we can be constantly learning and growing. For me I discovered a passion for seeing others thrive, so I invested in coach training and business mentoring experience. I can now support others through various leadership, career and teams psychometric profiles, to help others with their career or business direction.
If you want to keep up to date through being at the forefront of peoples minds - then you need to continuously improve how you work on yourself and ensure that others continue to like and trust you, and promote you. You can grow your network here, as sometimes the hidden job market is that it’s not what you know but who you know.
