[MTB] BYE BYE WINTER ROTORUA SOCIAL RIDE

Say bye bye to winter with a weekend at Whakarewarewa MTB Park, Rotorua. This is a 2 day trip: Saturday 30 August and Sunday 31 August, you can attend either or both day. Meeting time for the ride is 9.30am in the Waipa State Mill Rd carpark. Manual and ebikes are welcome (I'm on a manual). The pace will be medium and we ride grade 2 and 3 trails.
We:

• will eat lunch on the trail, so remember to pack yours
• may do part of the Loop but won't ride the whole Loop
• will use the shuttles if they are running - $15 per lift or less with a pass
• ride for 4 - 5 hours with rests, but can get you back to the carpark if you decide you've had enough
• will ride even if it's raining :-)
• recover at the Secret Spot post ride
• optional side trip to free hot pool stream

Remember: your bike, tools, spare tube, helmet, lots of water, lunch and snacks.

Please book your own accommodation for Saturday night soon as Rotorua fills up on the weekends.
