Internet of Things

I'm excited to announce this month's theme is Internet of Things. It's been a few months since our last gathering, and so I'm looking forward to hearing more neat things that you have been up to. This month we are lucky to have Peter Bennett and Ben Bodley (weather permitting) talk to us.

Introductions starting at 6:30pm

An opening to the meetup, any notices, and introducing our two speakers.

Talk 1

Peter Bennett will chat to us about the ESP8266 WiFi module, and other interesting embedded development boards he has in his collection.

Talk 2 (tentative)

Ben Bodley will talk about Message Brokers, Cameras and image processing and how that wraps up in a bundle to (occasionally) do something useful :)
