The hike to the Pinnacles in the Coromandel is one of New Zealand’s most iconic adventures. Beginning with a steady climb through regenerating forest and historic kauri logging tracks, the trail winds past swing bridges and streams before rising into rugged terrain.
As you ascend, the landscape opens to dramatic ridge lines and volcanic rock formations. The final push to the summit involves ladders and steps carved into stone, adding a thrilling edge.
At the top, panoramic views stretch across the Coromandel Peninsula, coastline, and distant ranges.
