Greetings Everyone - Join us on Sunday as we walk the Onehunga Harbour to the Tamaki River. We will follow the route the Maori's used many centuries ago.

🟔 Some words to Inspire you:
Our Two Harbours Walk begins on the edge of the Manukau, where we make an early stop at the Māngere Bridge Pump Station — the small brick building tucked beside the old bridge. Once part of Auckland’s early wastewater system, it’s a quirky industrial landmark that anchors the start of our journey and hints at the engineering history beneath the foreshore.
From there, we follow the harbour north before turning inland toward Mt Richmond, one of Auckland's lesser‑known volcanic cones. Its terraced slopes still show the outline of an ancient pā, offering a moment to pause, look back over the Manukau, and imagine the generations who lived and defended this ridge.

The walk then carries us toward the Waitematā, linking two harbours in a single, steady traverse — a blend of movement, history, and shared Sunday energy.
