The Auckland Hiking August Meetup

Hi all,

Apologies for the late notice, there is a conflict with a friends wedding on the usual date, which I have only noticed this week. The new date is Sunday, 26 August.

This months tramp is about going back to the good old Waitakeres, I have the area near the Upper Nihotupu Dam in mind. For people with a tramping map, I'm thinking of tracks 51,17, 136, 53, 63, 25, 63, 135, 51.

Victoria Park
Freemans Bay

Please bring:

• Tramping boots (the Waitakeres can be very muddy)
• Rain jacket
• Thermals
• Hat
• Lunch and snacks
• Water
