Details

🎭 "What Do You Mean It Was Improvised?"
3-hour workshop on Saturday, October 11th (10 AM - 1 PM)
Hosted in Auckland Central (exact location provided after signing up)

Create performances that leave audiences asking the best question of all: “Wait… that was improvised?”
This workshop is designed both to elevate your craft as a performer on stage and to help you shape the shows you are in, or the shows you have devised yourself. We’ll explore how every single detail, from the moment the audience enters the theatre to the way the final scene lands, contributes to the overall impact.

Expect to work on:

  • Welcoming and interacting with the audience
  • Using suggestions in fresh and creative ways
  • Transitions that feel seamless and intentional
  • Crafting strong show endings
  • Integrating lights, music, and technology as storytelling tools

Brought to you by the creative mind behind shows such as "Hotel Sol", "Comedy World League", and "La Catrina", performances that have toured festivals around the world. This workshop invites you to see every aspect of your show as part of the art form. Everything matters, and everything contributes to the magic of an improv show that feels almost impossible to have been created in the moment.

Spots are limited.
