🎭 Script to Scene
5-week workshop starting Monday, October 6 (6:30 – 8:30 PM)
No class on Labour Monday
Hosted in Auckland Central (exact location provided after signing up)

What happens when the words are already on the page, but the scene is still alive, unpredictable, and full of discovery?

Script to Scene is a five-week course where short scripts become springboards for improvisation. By removing the role of playwright, you’ll focus on directing and performing, experimenting with multiple ways of bringing text to life.
Expect to work on:

  • Two-person scripted scenes as a foundation for improv
  • Group and solo scenes inspired by short texts
  • Exploring different styles and tones using the same script
  • Receiving and applying live feedback
  • Strengthening your role as director and performer

Brought to you by the creator of Hotel Sol, Comedy World League, and Bonfire, formats that have toured internationally, this workshop offers both discovery and practical tools you can use on stage.

Spots are limited.
