While on the hunt for. new permananent home, CJC are still bringing us some special events at venues around the city:

# Alan Brown Trio

Alan Brown established his trio in 2007, with Dixon Nacey, as a hammond organ-based group focused on original jazz-funk.

They released an album "About That Time" followed by "Live At KMC" in 2013. Inspired in part by the Medeski, Martin and Wood collaboration with John Scofield, they quickly established their own sound and groove.

Over the last decade, live gigs have been somewhat sporadic for this trio, largely due to the many other projects and groups they have been involved with.

However this night is going to be pretty special, not only revisiting older favourite tunes and some new ones, but they will be joined by the incredible Elijah Whyte on drums!
