We have managed to fly in Michel Benebig from New Caledonia thanks to magnificent support from Ken.

SHUFFLE JAZZ EVOLUTION

FEATURING:
Roger Manins – Sax – Plays the Sax w scary randomness.
Mike Howell - Electric Guitar - Will have on his Thousand-Yard stare when producing new & delightful sounds.
Ron Samsom – Drums – Will be working up a sweat as he plays Soul Jazz.
Michel Benebig – Keys – From New Caledonia. Considered one of the best Hammond Organ players in Australasia.

Shuffle will be making Soul Jazz. Soul Jazz is like the blues, work songs and gospel. An ode to African-American music.

The central feature of this music is a rhythm called the shuffle. As Ron says: “The shuffle is the shit for me!
It isn’t just flat, it’s broken, and that’s where the music lies. It’s so beautifully wrong!”
