Parua Bay Tavern🍻 for lunch🍽 🏍💨🏍💨 FULL DAY

INTRODUCTION:
This is a ride up north to the Whangarei area to lunch at the picturesque Parua Bay Tavern via the twisty route from Paparoa with the odd rest stop every hour. After a tasty lunch & refueling we head back to Auckland the more direct route. This is an all-day ride about 430km (If you start from Manukau).

WHO:
Recommend for experienced, riders due to consistent pace and length of ride.

START 1: SOUTH/EAST AUCKLAND
07:45 am - ARRIVE McDonald's Manukau City
08:10 am - LEAVE MCDONALD' MANUKAU CITY

START 2: NORTH, CENTRAL, WEST
Arrive at Harvey Norman Car Park between 8:30 and 8:50am at the latest for briefing. 9:00am prompt rollout.

11:35 am - LEAVE for Maungakaramia 40K
12:10* am - ARRIVE Manungakaramia for 10 minute stretch, picture ⛽️🚽
12:20 pm - LEAVE for Parua Bay Tavern 35K
1:00 pm - LUNCH PARUA BAY TAVERN for lunch 60 minutes 🍻🍽 🚽
2:15 pm - LEAVE for Wellsford 97k⛽️🚽

3:30 pm - ARRIVE Wellsford - 15 minutes (Petrol)
3:45 pm - LEAVE for AUCKLAND 78K 🍻🍽🚽
4:45 pm - ARRIVE AUCKLAND

RAIN SAVER DAY:
For this to be enjoyable the roads need to be dry. This ride date maybe changed. If the ride is cancelled, I will leave a message here at 7am on the day.

HOW:
The ride will be at pace. This means riding at the speed limit and a little quicker where safe. We will split into two groups pending numbers.

WHO:
For this ride you must be comfortable riding at open road speeds in rural areas where conditions can be mixed. You can corner on rural roads comfortably between 90km to 104kmh
