This group is for Quad and Inline skaters wanting to meet up for social skates!
Whether it’s a recreational cruise along the beach, or a high paced urban skate in the city, post your skate session here.
You always skate at your own risk. Protective gear is strongly recommended which includes helmet, wrist, elbow and kneepads. You are at all times completely responsible for your own safety when participating in any skate sessions.

ASC XMAS EVENT - Ice Skating rink session at Paradice Avondale
Paradice Ice Skating Avondale, 150 Lansford Crescent, Auckland, NZPlease join us as we celebrate the end of the year and Christmas holidays ice skating at Paradice Avondale!
Festive dress-up or wearing Xmas colour's is encouraged.
Cafe on site with option to purchase snacks, hot chocolate, ice cream or share fries.
Perfect venue for both new and experienced skaters to have fun and meet some new people.
Session runs from 1pm to 4pm. Best to come 15min prior to session for skate hire options, but can arrive any time and stay for as long as you want.
SKATE SESSION COST?
Just $22 Entry which includes skate hire, or $17 if you bring your own skates.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT @ A PUBLIC SKATE SESSION?
Skating along to the latest hits under disco lights in an Olympic-sized ice arena.
All levels amd ages are welcome. Remember to bring warm clothing, especially gloves.
Helmets are compulsory and are included in your hire or you can bring your own.
Please note this is not a teaching class but balance bars are available for hire.

SOME FAQS
- Skates are given out around 10 minutes before the start of the session, so turning up a little bit early is a good idea to avoid the lines.
- There are a limited number of frames and they are sold on a first come first serve basis, and cannot be reserved.
- To keep your belongings safe, there are lockers for hire. These are coin operated and cost $3 for 3 hours or $5 for 5 hours. These will fit a medium size bag and some shoes.
- There is a snack bar and a café on site, and no outside food or drink is allowed to be brought on to the premises.
