Sunset Skate - Silo Park to Auckland Habour Bridge

Please join us for a relaxed social skate as we warm up and prepare for more skating with better weather rolling in.

We will be skating around at Silo Park near the basketball courts from 6.30pm. Around 7pm we will head to the Auckland Harbour bridge to appreciate the sunset.

Those of you wanting to practice speed, skills or free skate are welcome to stay at Silo and skate around, we will join you again before 8pm

The route from Silo to the Harbour Bridge is suitable for both advanced beginners and experienced skaters, who can:

• cross roads confidently on skates
• skate in low light
• skate across uneven and different surfaces - brick, tile, road, path
• and stop safely or in some cases suddenly

Helmets are compulsory for any school aged skaters joining us and we also encourage those joining the street skate to wear helmets along with wrist guards and knee pads.
