We've got an exciting meet-up planned this month with the CEO of Roubler - Grant McIvor.

Leadership Levels

Leadership is a journey, one that is never complete. In this talk, the focus will be on what it is like to move levels. The first is moving from a middle leadership level change in technology to a senior technology leadership role.

The second is going from being the CTO to the CEO, where you no longer just lead a function but the entire business. How does a technology-based CEO think about sales and marketing? What is the relationship with the CTO?
If you want to better understand these transitions, at least from one person’s perspective, and gain a few tips and tricks, then this talk is for you.

Grant McIvor – CEO, Roubler
Grant took over leading Roubler, a workforce management (WFM) software company, from the founder in late 2022. Before that, Grant was CTO of the Enterprise Division within MYOB, leading a product technology team that built several ERP, Payroll, and WFM products for the mid-market.

Prior to MYOB, Grant had a few senior technology leadership roles, and while technology was the functional focus, it is leadership that Grant views as his primary role.
