Seminar 2 - "Understanding Our Behaviour"

This will be the second of 3 seminars on Behavioural Psychology.
I’m not a psychologist. I’m an engineer trying to work out WTF is going on! I want your feedback as we explore the following issues:

1. Why do people belief what they believe?

• In spite of obvious contradictions

2. How did we get here?

• Are we being manipulated? (Seminar 1)

3. Why do people behave as they do?

• Understanding our Behaviour (Seminar 2)

4. Where do we go from here?

• How to have Difficult Conversations (Seminar 3)

For Seminar 2 we'll go through:

• What Drives Our Behaviour?
• 3 Layers of the Mind
• Reason vs Emotion
• Perceptions vs Reality
• The 3 Layers of the Mind
• The Banality of Evil
• The elephant in the room

I'll record my presentation for upload to my YouTube channel, which will last around 25-30mins. (Please switch off your camera and microphone).
The presentation will be followed by a discussion and a general Q&A. (This part will not be recoded so cameras and microphones can be switched back on.)
