February 2025 Meetup: Show and Tell..

Welcome to our February AR/VR mettup - on Wednesday, February 26th at 6:45pm for a 7pm start.

As usual, this will be held at the Auckland Bioengineering Institite Building (70 Symonds St) at the University of Auckland.

This month we'd doing a show and tell of the projects that we're working on, and the things that you're interested in. If you have an interesting project that you'd like to share, please bring it along and/or a 10 minute presentation about it. Hands on demos are especially appreciated.

We'll run through those and give each other feedback and ideas that people are working on.

Some of the things that will be shown include:
- using GenAI tools to create VR experiences with little or no coding
- using Apple Vison Pro for virtual clothing try-on
- screen capture and sharing for Mixed Reality applications
- Using AI tools for rapid prototyping

Please come for a great way to share what you're up to and to connect with others in the local community.

The building entrance will be locked, so please text or call me at 027 444 0595 to get in, or look for the students outside.

As usual we will have pizza and drinks.. Pizza will arrive by 6:45pm, so arrive early.

This month I'll be there in person so it'll be great to see you all face to face.
