Screen Industry Forum

Film Auckland Inc. a screen industry leadership group is organising the Screen Industry Forum. As our screen industry finds itself in a critical position fighting for its survival, Film Auckland is committed to working hard to create momentum for our screen industry.

Among its various initiatives and lobbying work done since early 2013, the Screen Industry Forum aims to galvanise our industry into a unified voice across all interest groups (whether Auckland based or elsewhere).

This will allow our screen industry to speak with more force and become an important block of electoral vote.

The Event will have two parts:

1. Highlighting of industry successes and industry value to Government and the wider public. Why are we an important contributor not just to business but also to the arts and cultural identity of our country? By highlighting these successes, our screen sector can tell a more compelling and effective story.

2. Discussion of major Issues and a statement developed by the industry that will be taken to the Government. This will be mandated by the “unified” audience.
