This month's Level Up will be broken up into two sections; a talk by Antony Maday and a playtesting session. This event will be hosted at AUT with the talk in WG126 and playtesting in WE6 room 605.
You Have a Game Idea: Now What?
Antony will guide you through the practical steps to take after coming up with your exciting new game idea, showing you how to test your product selection in ways that inform your design pillars and guide your production plan.About: Antony Maday
Antony is CODE's Regional Content Manager, Upper North Island. He brings a plethora of tech skills and experience working across a variety of platforms, and testing hardware such as PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch. Outside of work, Antony is a self-confessed comic book fan and has self published a number of copies. He’s also a keen musician and plays bass guitar in multiple bands in Auckland.Progress Bar
Bring down your WIP, demos, or your released titles to show off and receive some feedback. Beyond playing games (or getting feedback on your own) Progress Bar is a great platform for networking, knowledge sharing, celebrating, and socializing!NOTE: You are required to bring in your own hardware (laptops, controllers, headphones, etc). If you have specific hardware or space requirements please get in touch to make sure we can accommodate those.

- Wireframe 2025Media Design School, Auckland
Join us at Wireframe, a new gaming conference and showcase hosted at Media Design School's campus in Tāmaki Makaurau!
This will be a free event for students, hobbyists, and game developers. Come meet other developers in the games industry, play some fantastic new and upcoming titles homegrown in Aotearoa, and attend talks from industry developers working at Niantic, Liquid Static, Dinosaur Polo Club, and more.
