Level Up; Group Portfolio and CV Reviews

Hi everyone!

It's time to Level Up! This is a free public event for everyone, we'd love to meet you :~)

Directions: Media Design School, Level 1, Immediately outside of the lifts to the right!

As previously this event will be broken into two sections; a Portfolio/CV Review and a Play-testing Session.

Portfolio/CV Review
We're kicking things off this year with a session to help sharpen up your CVs and portfolios for the job hunt. We'll start with a short (10 min) presentation on creating strong applications before splitting off into groups to review each others' portfolios and CVs. This is a great opportunity to get feedback on your applications from other perspectives!

If you'd like feedback on your portfolio or CV, bring a laptop or printed copies of your work + a notebook and pen to take in feedback!

Even if you don't have anything you'd currently like to show, we'll make sure to be available to answer any questions on what we look for in portfolios and CVs from the perspective of an employer.

Progress Bar
We'll also have Progress Bar running at the same time!
Bring down your WIP, your demos, or your released titles to show off and receive some feedback. If you have specific hardware or space requirements please get in touch to make sure we can accommodate those.
Beyond playing games (or getting feedback on your own) Progress Bar is a great platform for networking, recruiting, knowledge sharing, celebrating, job hunting and socializing!

• 6:00PM; We'll open up the Playtesting space for early arrivals or anyone who needs to setup their playtest

• 6:45PM; Review Groups Start

• 8:00PM; Start Packing Up
• 8:30PM; Finished
