Time to level up! This month we are excited to host Tim Ponting, Chief Executive of the New Zealand Centre of Digital Excellence (CODE), a government-funded economic development initiative tasked with helping build a sustainable game development ecosystem in Aotearoa.
Tim will give a brief update about CODE’s present activities and future plans, before opening the floor to any questions about CODE and its operations.
About Tim
Tim Ponting is a video game industry veteran with over 35 years’ experience working in a variety of roles, initially as editor and publisher of magazines and websites and then in marketing communications roles, including 5 years as European PR Director for Activision and over 15 years as director of a communications and business development agency Renegade. He has been a serial investor in video game projects and studios here in Aotearoa since 2018.
