Talks

For our monthly meetup, this month we are going to have three awesome talks!

Eduardo Gurgel, who did our excellent Elixir talk will be back presenting Webmachine - HTTP done right.

Next up we'll have Mal Curtis talking about migrating from Postgres on Heroku without downtime.

Last, we'll have Daniel Zollinger give a lightning talk called Extracting workflows with DCI.

This is going to be an excellent night of learning and collaborating, come along and get to know your local rails community!

We'll have the usual free Beer and Pizza, courtesy of our benevolent sponsors, Carnival Labs and Figured on Farm.

Don't forget we'll be at a new venue, closer to the CBD, since our third sponsor Localist/Ora are moving. The new address is 104 Quay Street. We will have someone down stairs to direct everyone up.

Parking options:

Street parking (probably metered), or the nearby carparks. The closest one in the Westpac building is probably the most expensive. The Downtown carpark is a few blocks away but possibly the cheapest option.
