REMUERA - PARNELL - TAMAKI DRIVE- URBAN WEDNESDAY EVENING WALK

Greetings All

Join Us for some Mid Week recreational outdoor walking activities and socializing every Wednesday.

Tonight we will walk around through parts of Remuera and Parnell , following a few coastal trails and Boardwalks designed for Aucklanders and visitors..

When it gets Dark, we can enjoy watching everyone's Fireworks Displays walking around Tamaki Drive.

PLEASE NOTE- Use the Railway Station Carpark OPPOSITE to Park your car.. Not the Orakei Village Carpark .

We will begin with a coastal beach walk of sorts...at the back of a well known Remuera School...then ..visit some of the Historic Heritage Houses here today, old churches and see where former Prime Minister, John Key lived in Parnell, near the Parnell Pools. And stroll around Tamaki Drive, completing a loop walk of variety and happy minds, while getting some gentle exercise together.

Where Meeting- In front of Silky Otter Cinema in the Orakei Village Carpark opposite Orakei Train Station and the Silky Otter Cinema.

Meet and Greet Time Ready to Walk is at 6.30pm. Be here earlier if you wish to use Toilets. Some on the way we walk. Toilets upstairs and Food choices.

Wear strong walking shoes or boots for two plus hours of easy going paced walking. We will stop lots to rest and take pictures. This is not a race to end like some Meet Up groups do Mid Week...

Carry everything in a small backpack you need to keep yourself warm and happy and fed and hydrated.

Bringing a Torch is Optional..Plenty of Street lighting after Sunset.

No dogs or Smokers or Children today please.

Please be ready to Walk by 6.30pm.
