What we’re about

Hello Authors, small publishers, government departments, corporates.

Do you want information on how to turn your book/manuals to a global standard audio book? The community radio station 2RPH has developed the technology and processes for creating audio books - an end to end service that involves you in the whole process. The mission is to assist emerging writers, self published authors, and small publishers access the increasing number of ‘readers’ who want to consume their reading via audio.

These group meetings will provide information to anyone who has a manuscript or book and interested in finding out what would be involved in turning it into an audio book. How does an audio book differ from a podcast? How much does it cost? What is the process? How long does it take? What is an ACX standard? How do I need to adjust my manuscript to suit audio?

Already we have ‘trialled’ several books, including two volumes of Seniors Short Stories for the Department of Community and Justice, a 90,000 word anthology of new writers, and a wonderful self-help book.

We are a community radio reading station and NFP. We are making this service as affordable as possible but still pay decent rates to our wonderful narrators and audio engineers. As well as make a small income stream for the radio reading service we have provided to the community for over 30 years.
