April Meetup: Live-looping DAW in Rust & CSound API for plugins
Ableton AG, Schoenhauser Allee 6-7, Berlin, DEOn the 1st of April we will host the next iteration of our monthly Audio Developer Meetup where Johan Thelander Lövgren will be presenting Ursund, a live-looping & improvisation DAW written in Rust, and Achillefs Sourlas will show us how CSound can be used with music plugins, demonstrated with AutoBeat Machine. ursund - a meta-instrument and DAW for live looping and improvisation, written in Rust - Johan Thelander Lövgren
A cross-platform (desktop/mobile) DAW featuring a dynamic and interactive map of loops, audio effects, modulation, retroactive looping, MIDI, remote control, shared sessions, and more.
Johan Thelander Lövgren (aka 'a moment unfolding') is a Berlin-based singer, musician, producer, and sound/software engineer. After moving to Berlin for music studies he became even more enchanted by the many rabbit holes of computer music. Since finishing his studies he has worked for almost a decade as a full stack developer, while building audio projects on the side and performing regularly in the local music scene.

Achillefs Sourlas is an audio developer and musician. He is also the founder of Axart Labs OÜ, an indie music software company based in Tallinn.
