Welcome to the Augmenting Reality Meetup, London’s longest-running tech networking event! Now into our 16th year, 2025 is looking to be bigger, faster, and more groundbreaking than ever before, and we want to be the first to bring you all about the very best of XR, VR, MR, AR, Immersive Storytelling, Gadgets, Gaming, Conferences, Collaborations and more!

Hosted by our OG Founder Steve Dann, for our first Meetup of 2025 we’ve teamed up with the formidable WIIT UK (Women in Immersive Technologies) and the world-famous Augmented World Expo for AWE Nites London for an exclusive live stream! Thanks to PwC for hosting, and biggups to Innovate UK’s Immersive Technology Network for your support with this jam-packed night of industry insights, speakers & demos!

AND! We’re also celebrating the official book launch of the first dedicated narrative design manual for XR/Spatial Computing, Storytelling for Spatial Computing & Mixed Reality: The Art of Augmenting Imagination! Written by our long-time ARMU pal Rob Morgan, the book digests over a decade of XR storytelling experience into a practical, accessible manual for artists, students and XR storytellers. Our very own Muki Kulhan will moderate a world-exclusive fireside chat with Rob to deep dive into the inspiration behind the book, followed by a book signing and a launch celebration at the pub!
