Commedia Del Arte Workshop!

Calling all actors who would like to participate in historically-informed theatre! Originating in Italy, commedia dell’arte was an early form of professional theatre that became wildly popular throughout Europe between the 16th and 18th centuries. It’s an improvisational, ensemble style of theatre and the first theatre to feature women acting on stage.

Thomas Carani (Knut Bjornson) of Athens will be teaching a workshop in this style of theatre, with the ultimate goal of developing some material for EastWind's Dragon Faire and other events.
