Paddle Stallings Island

Join the CSRA kayak and adventures FB group on a paddle around Stallings Island and a visit ( hopefully) with the resident donkeys.

Meet at the put-in below the pavilion. Drive to the visitors center and down the access rd toward the kayak rental office but turn LEFT below the visitors center vs. right. Drive along gravel path to the canal head-gates, drop off boats here and return cars to parking lot.

Be sure to bring hat, water, sunscreen, water shoes and swim suit if you plan to go swimming.
Donkey’s appreciate apples and carrots.

You can rent kayaks HERE or possibly borrow one from another member just ask.

The current near the put-in can be swift, if you are an inexperienced kayaker, better to join us on a different paddle.
