Fabulous walking trip through Historic towns and villages of Northern France from Coutances to Mont Saint-Michel...

18 Jun: Arrive in Coutances France in time for our 3pm group checkin, enjoy exploring this beautiful old market town late afternoon and evening
19 Jun: First day walk of about 12km leaving our bags in our accommodation and taking daypack only we take a local bus to start our circuit no 32 Circuit de la Pointe D’Agon Pointe d’Agon is a magnificent protected natural area that can be discovered thanks to this circuit. Pointe d’Agon and the lighthouse Under the effect of tides and storms, the sandy spit of the point tends to fill the harbor of the Sienne which it borders. Site of the Littoral Conservatory with its dunes,
its meadows classified since 1989, by following the coastline and crossing the dunes covered with oyats (perennial plants living in sandy soils), we gradually discover this exceptional space.
Visiting sites of Pointe d’Agon and the lighthouse, The Fernand Lechanteur monument, View of Siena and Rue d’Agon, La Tour du Ronquet to name a few!
Overnight Coutances
20 Jun: 2nd day walk of our northern France adventure, circuit 33 De L’Huitre about 17km again a local bus to our start point Blainville-sur-Mer is a charming town known mainly for its oyster culture. However, it offers much more than that. Among its many attractions, we find the sailors' chapel, a must-see site. By exploring this town, you can explore small streets and picturesque paths, discovering all the charm of Blainville-sur-Mer.

21 Jun: Our first walk out of accommodation to the historic port town of Granville a longer walk but easy 26km mainly slightly down hill or flat plenty of time to walk and enjoy the sites too, coastal walking!
22 Jun: Walking straight down the coast with views of Mont Sainte Michel in the distance, beautiful coastal views and fairly easy walk into the village of Genets, we stay over night and ready for our morning adventure!
23 Jun: Our adventure starts after breakfast as we ready for our Mont Sainte Michel bay crossing, timed for low tide we start walking across the large flat bay on hard sand, some water will be running out into the sea so wet shoes or bare feet!
Arriving into Mont Sainte Michel with entrance tickets at hand we enter and spend the rest of the day exploring the Abbey before walking out to the station and train to Avranche
24 Jun: After breakfast wander and explore this wonderful old market town and its old quarter, botanic gardens and much more
25 Jun: Departure day after breakfast train to Paris or for your onward travels

Inclusions: Accommodation in twin share/triple rooms (same sex) throughout with breakfast except Genets which is a dorm room with breakfast. Local bus and Abbey entrance fees are at own cost.

No refunds however a replacement may be found from the waitlist if one exists some change fees may apply.

This is an international travel trip and travel insurance with unlimited medical cover, including existing conditions and insolvency is compulsory.
