🥾 😎 ☀️ Roseville to Manly, 25 km (hard)

Roseville to Manly, a hard walk due to the distance and some demanding sections. You’ll be rewarded with stunning scenery, including beautiful native bushland, mangroves, rainforest and gorgeous water views en route.

We'll meet at Roseville station, head towards Two Creek Track via the Little Digger Track and cross the Roseville Bridge. Once on the other side, we’ll skirt Killarney Heights before heading down to the water’s edge via the Magazine Track, followed by a longer uphill section leading us to the Natural Bridge and Bluff Lookout before descending again to Bantry Bay. We’ll then climb back up again via the Timbergetters Track to Seaforth Oval before making our way across Wakehurst Parkway to the western side of the Manly Dam. We end up at Manly Wharf after a stroll along the water's edge at Fairlight.

Grade: Hard mostly due to terrain and distance. If you have never walked over 20km I would advise not to take this track. We will maintain a steady pace of around 4.5 km/h.

Transport: We meet at Roseville station at 9 am, in front of Rosewood Cafe on the east side of the tracks. Check www.transportnsw.info for latest updates.

Fee: $10 fee applies to this event which can be paid in cash on the day or PayID (0478 953 035, Markus Wagner).

Equipment: Wear sturdy shoes, bring a jacket in case the weather turns, lunch as you will not be able to pick up food en route, snacks, sun cream, a hat and plenty of water (2-3 l). There are very few facilities along the way. Most importantly, bring a sense of humour, adventure and fun.

Get out points: A couple of get out points at Roseville Bridge and around Seaforth Oval.
