This route starts and finishes at train stations, it starts along the Lyrebird Guly Track before following along Berowra Creek and up to Berowra Station using a mix of fire trails. Along the way, there is a creek, a salt marsh, grass trees, a rock shelter anda variety of flora and fauna. The route is well-signposted for the most part but can be challenging with lots of uphills and downhillis and some creek crossings. Parking is available at Mount Kuring-Gai and Berowra train stations.

Meet at Berowra Train Station.

Distance: Approx 13 kms

Type of Walk: Bush walk.

Difficulty: Moderate.
There are no get-out points for this walk.

Walking Pace: We will maintain a steady pace the whole walk and an average of 4 km per hour.

What to bring: Good walking shoes or boots; 2 litres of water; hydrolytes; head torch; one snack; jacket depending on conditions; rain jacket.
