Brand new Light to Light walk Eden 3 days easy

Brand new Light to Light is an easy multi day walk 31 km of undulating coastal path, actually some do it in a day, some do it in two but the standard walk is in 3 days (well 2.5 actually) its a gorgeous coastal walk, no big steep hills just gentle stuff and perfect for an introduction to overnight walking. As we are doing it in 3 days we arrive at campsites early enough to enjoy a fish, swim, relax and enjoy the lovely remote campsites, we should in at Green Cape Lighthouse at the end of the walk around lunchtime.Fabulous new walk in campsites pre booked.

Begin this multi-day walk at Boyds Tower down the far south coast, and end at Green Cape Lighthouse. Stop for a swim and the opportunity to spot seals, seabirds and whales. Light to Light walk hugs the coastline between historic Boyds Tower and Green Cape Lightstation. It’s one of the best walks on the far south coast of NSW. The views are stunning and ever-changing – from heathland to forest, tea tree groves to banksia woodlands, and sheltered coves to towering red-rock platforms. Plus, with so many seafront vantage points, you can spot seals, seabirds and whales.

Enjoy a small section of the walk – most sections of this walk are easy - or embark on a self-guided, multi-day hike, stop overnight and have a swim at the beach campgrounds, walk in sites with no facilities, water from creeks so bring water purification. Before you head out, be sure to download the app to your iPhone

As this is a 2.5 day walk you will need to be self sufficient with camping gear, can share gas stoves and post a comment if anyone wants to share a tent to reduce the weight. I will drive down Friday & camp then breakfast in Eden and meet at Boyds Tower to start the walk. Its an early start from Sydney if arriving Saturday morning as its a 6 hour drive! We need to do a car shuttle Saturday morning leaving a car at Green Cape Lighthouse (end of walk)
