Amazing Little Wobby to Woy Woy station via Rocky Ponds medium 16k.

An awesome and unusual walk from Brooklyn (Hawksbury River Station) ferry to Little Wobby then walk to Woy Woy Station about 16km with fantastic views
This is a great walk, crossing the middle of Brisbane Water National Park and visiting several highlights including Rocky Ponds!

You will enjoy a wide range of panoramic views from TumblecowII ridge, Rocky Ponds (Tank Creek) and an optional side trip to enjoy the view from Mount Wondabyne. The walk finishes with a walk of contrast, beside the Woy Woy landfill and a road walk to Woy Woy Station
Lovely coastal and mostly bush walk in an area we do not get to often enough! Bit of a climb out of Little Wobby but we have time

Transport either train to Hawkesbury River Station (Brooklyn) and train from Woy Woy Station home, the Woy Woy train stops at Haweksbury River Station on return if driving.

Please bring lunch, snacks, sturdy walking shoes/boots and 2L of water plus a sense of fun and adventure, don't forget your hat and sunscreen
10:00 ferry to Little Wobby then walk through the houses on stilts into the NP and on to Woy Woy Station for the train back to Sydney.

Around 16km medium grade a couple of ascents and descents but and track is rough in places. Should be into Woy Woy station about 4:00pm ish, time for a cold beer across the road from the station!

Make sure you have plenty of snacks think carbs/sugar as protein takes too long to process. Do not skip salt... Your body requires energy to complete longer walks...

Bring a jacket in case of a change of weather and 2l of water, sturdy walking shoes/boots, hat suncream, snacks and lunch! Nowhere to top up along the way either water or food!

SAFETY WARNING: Please stay away from cliff edges and be very careful when walking on wet and slippery rocks and surfaces. Please stay within sight of the group at all times and do not walk in front of the leader. If you get lost you are on your own and must find your own way out.
