Fabulous coastal walk: Patonga to Woy Woy via Umina Beach & Ettalong 16km

A fantastic coastal walk with a few opt-out points along the way about 15km in total mostly along the coast on well formed walking paths, starting in Patonga a lovely little community on the central coast with gorgeous sea views, the walk climbs quickly and steeply up out of Patonga over the headland to Warah Trig before dropping to Umina Beach following the coast around to Ettalong and finally Woy Woy and the train home.

Only one climb on the walk which is steep out of Patonga but provides beautiful views over the Pittwater region.

Hopefully arriving into Woy Woy around 3.00pm just in time for a cold beer and the train home.

Please bring snacks and lunch, hat, sunscreen, walkers/joggers are OK, plenty of water but there is plenty of places to fill up. If you want a coffee before the start arrive early at the ferry wharf, good coffee just across the road from the bus stop.

Easiest option is Train to Woy Woy and the bus 54 to Patonga

Train to Woy Woy and bus to Patonga which departs Woy Woy station 09:19 and arrives 09:46 then walk to Woy Woy and train home from Woy Woy station.
