St Leonards to Coal Loader and Wendy's Garden finishing at Central!

This is a lovely walk that covers the north coastline to the west of the Harbour Bridge and finishes by passing a number of gelaterias that will be hard to resist!
We start at St Leonards Train Station at 10am after meeting just outside station exit near McDonalds.
From here we follow Berry Creek and make our way to Berry Island Reserve and Oyster Cove Reserve reaching the Coal Loader Wharf, where we will take short break.
From here we go to Berry Bay Lookout (where the BP Fuel Terminal used to be) and then to Waverton Park and Sawmillers Reserve where the remains of a rusty shipwreck lie in the sand.
We continue through to Lavender Bay and the beautiful Blues Point Reserve.
From here we head to Milson’s Point passing through Wendy’s Garden, where we will probably have lunch.
Then we cross the Harbour Bridge, walk to Barangaroo (yes, for a gelato at Rivareno Gelateria, where else?) and onto Central Train Station.
Plenty of exit points.
We will aim to finish at Central around 3.30pm, from where we can catch a train to return home.

DISTANCE: About 18 kms.
GRADE: Moderate, due to distance. Mostly on paths but some walking on trails.
NOTE: Exit options along the way. Please let the Host know if you leave the walk.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
· Be Prepared: Wear comfortable shoes, bring at least 1L of water and dress for the weather. I would recommend hydralyte tablets, snacks and sun protection.
· Follow Instructions: Please follow the instructions of the Host at all times and keep the Host within sight.
