Opening up our Saturday club ride to Shere to intro riders. FYI there will be other club members on the ride, and we plan to ride at B-pace (see details below).
This is an undulating ride to the Surrey countryside and back to London. Before joining, please ensure you are comfortable with the pace requirements, distance and elevation. If you're unsure, we recommend joining an easier ride first.

Riding group: B (riding at ~30 km/hr on the flats)

Meet time: 8:55am
Leave time: 9am
Café stop: Dabbling Duck in Shere
Climbs:
- Green Dene
- Hound House Road
- Combe Lane
Please allow enough time to ensure we leave on time. Inform your ride leader of any unfortunate mishaps en route.
This is a B paced ride. Details on our rider groups can be found here
- Rolling pace on the flats will be 29-32 kph
- Road bikes only
- We ride as a team, but if you are significantly behind the pace specified, then we will ask you to ride alone or find a train station.
Must haves:
- Helmet
- Front and rear lights
- Spare inner tube, tyre levers and pump
- Cash/card
- Nutrition and hydration
- Portable, pock lock for the café (recommended for your own peace of mind, though we will aim to keep the bikes within sight and close)
- Route (or a way of getting yourself home / to a station)

We are limited on spaces to ensure we keep everyone safe and to enjoy the ride. If you can no longer make it please update your RSVP as soon as possible to give someone else the opportunity to ride.
