(FYI) Backyard: A Themed Exhibition

We’re honored to announce call for entries for this Juried exhibition of places shaped by use, memory, & proximity, which will be juried by Judy Tedford Deaton, Chief Curator & Director of exhibitions & collective at Center for Contemporary Arts in Abilene-artists working in all media encouraged to submit work that examines backyard as a constructed environment-shaped by human intention & natural forces or as psychological or symbolic space informed by memory & experience. Exhibition welcomes literal, abstract, documentary & experimental approaches.

Your entry is due Jan 26.

Backyard will open Feb 13 with closing reception- March 28.
