Artist Talk: Neo Geo

From the Georgetown Art Center:
Celebrating the latest exhibition Neo Geo by artists Larry Akers and Janet Brooks, join the Georgetown Art Center in the gallery's Opening Reception event! Featuring live music, charcuterie, and wine, guests will have the opportunity to meet the artists and discuss featured works throughout the gallery. This is a free event taking place during normal business hours and is open to all ages.
“Larry Akers and Janet Brooks resolved to show their work together to present an exhibition of dynamic color interactions; interactive, geometrically based kinetic sculpture; and visually active, pattern-based design. These works will engage viewers of any age and background in a rich, visual feast that delves into the nature of eyesight, spatial and color visual cognition, and illusion. It will be a playground for the eyes and mind.”
