Opening Reception– Will Klemm: Light Works

November 07, 2026 - November 29, 2026

From Wally Workman Gallery:
"Wally Workman Gallery is proud to open Will Klemm's 26th solo show with the gallery 'Light Works'. In this show, Klemm’s large scale richly textured canvases toggle between the real and the imagined, with an emphasis on light. Light quality changes through the day as the sun tracks and as the seasons change. Klemm's goal is to make light tangible and convincing, but also to free it from its strictly logical or descriptive function. He hopes the viewer will see these images as a kind of doorway to meditation, or daydreaming, or flight of fancy, as he does.
Klemm lives between Austin, Texas and Taos, New Mexico. His paintings depict his travels with poetic evocations of the Southwestern landscape, from Texas to California."
