  A few years ago, Brent Dusing started to get bothered by what he was seeing: anxiety, depression, and suicide rates at all-time highs for our children. Bothered by facts such as the average American child spending 45 hours a month on a screen, or the fact that the average male is exposed to internet pornography at the young age of 12. Bothered by all the immoral content pushed on our innocent children and while some of that screen time is used for learning or benign entertainment, there are a lot of dark things they can’t unsee. Thoughts that can’t be undone. The response often given from creators of destructive content for children is “parents should just do a better job”.

At TruPlay Games, we believe that the responsibility lies at the feet of the creators and gatekeepers. So we decided to do something about it.
