It really is a perfect film. In the French colonial outpost of Casablanca, miles away from the guns of WWII but subject to Hitler’s command, an American nightclub owner (Humphrey Bogart) sees an old flame (Ingrid Bergman) again, but the Nazi-led forces that are driving the world apart threaten to extinguish the fire.
