Comp Sci whitepaper discussion group. This week we take a final look at prior art to the Byzantine Fault Tolerance problem, Reaching Consensus in the Presence of Faults. The BFT paper is based on this one, and likely a pre-requisite to fully understanding the Byzantine Generals paper.
