Graham Nicholls on Lucid Dreaming and Out-of-Body Experience
Details
This is Part 4 of our 5-part series in which we explore the fascinating connection between Lucid Dreaming and Out-of-Body Experience (OBE). To accomplish that goal, we ask the foremost experts in the field to answer a series of questions about that relationship.
This video features a teleconference with Graham Nicholls, an English author and leading practitioner and researcher into the out-of-body experience. Graham experienced OBE’s from an early age, and went on to develop techniques to initiate them. He’s participated in double-blind scientific research, developed novel sound technologies to trigger them, written several highly-regarded books and lectured widely on the subject. He is also an Advisory Board member of the Rhine Research Center and offers online coaching for individuals motivated to learn the skills involved.
Graham has published several excellent books on the subject, including Avenues of the Human Spirit and Navigating the Out-of-Body Experience, and is co-author of Consciousness Beyond the Body.
During this presentation, Graham discusses his definition of OBE’s, his early OBE experiences, his model of consciousness, outlines distinctions between lucid dreams and OBE’s, and describes evidence for veridical and precognitive perception during OBE’s. He goes on to discuss some of the scientific research, his holistic approach to developing an OBE mind-set, and the possibility for spiritual transformation through OBE’s.
Please note: You’ll notice that Graham’s image on the video is initially frozen, but that issue is resolved within about three minutes. We hope you enjoy this fascinating presentation!
