Tuesday Night Downtowner

This is a tried and true Tuesday Nighter for a lot of us old timers. It's been a favorite of many, so we are going to start it up again now that daylight savings time has changed. This will be weekly for those of you that can't make it to Lakeway after work.

Meet at The Rock across from the tennis courts on Veterans Parkway, near the water coolers set up for runners. There is much more parking available - for those who don't ride in - under the Stratford Street//Ladybird Lake trailhead entrance parking under MoPac. Just unload and ride across the pedestrian bridge to The Rock.

We'll ride about 20 mile loop to Steck/Balcones via Lake Austin/Escarpment/Shoal Creek. I have a map and will post it as soon as I find it! Bear with me as we get this new weekly ride organized. I'd appreciate ride leaders so we have people to sweep as well as lead.

This is an intermediate ride and we'll add beginners as soon as I'm sure that we have enough ride leaders to ensure beginner riders' safety.

This is a GREAT way to end the day. We roll back in through Scenic along the lake and it's like a roller coaster.
