There's another AI law on the books, this time from Texas. They claim it is a business-friendly. But "business-friendly" doesn't mean consequence-free. TRAIGA (the "Texas Responsible AI Governance Act") sets limits on what your AI can do and backs it up with serious penalties.
The good news is that compliance is mostly about documentation, not design. Steve Swernofsky breaks down exactly what TRAIGA requires, what it doesn't, and what engineers need to do about it. And in plain English, no law degree required.
