Hologram: Skip the JavaScript, write all your code in Elixir

This month, David will be speaking about using Hologram for building interfaces in pure Elixir that render on both the server and client.

Hologram is a full-stack, isomorphic Elixir web framework that lets you build rich, interactive user interfaces entirely in Elixir. It uses a declarative component system and compiles client-side code into JavaScript, providing modern frontend capabilities without relying on traditional JavaScript frameworks. This presentation will walk through the basics of Hologram, where it is at, and where it is going, along with reviewing the further development needed to make this a viable front end for your Phoenix application.

This event will take place at STATION Austin on Brazos St in Austin from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. We will meet in the Padawan room on the 5th floor. Elevators will be unlocked, partial parking validation available ($8 max charge).
