Our "Food for Thought" TED for Sunday(2/9 @ 9:30AM)- Why fascism is so tempting

Details
We will have our Food For Thought TED talk this Sunday Feb 9th at 9:30am at Wildflower Church as usual. Hope to see you there.
This week will will watch and discuss a talk by Yuval Harari. He's become a very popular author and speaker lately, with a very interesting background that I can tall you more about at the meeting. This talk of his covers a fundamentally important topic about politics today - one I'm hoping generates some thought provoking discussion.
Hope to see you there,
Mike Ignatowski
This group meets on the 2nd and 4th Sundays at 9:30am to watch a short film (often a TED talk) related to social or ethical issues or personal growth, followed by a lively discussion with food and coffee. You can think of this as a Sunday morning "spritual growth practice". It is not necessary to RSVP, and in fact most people don't. If you don't see anyone else that has RSVP'd, don't be afraid that you will be the only one there. You won't be. We typically have 8-10 people show up.
This group is sponsored by the Wildflower Unitarian Universalist Church, but it is not a "religious program" and ALL community members interested in these discussions are welcome regardless of beliefs and attitudes towards religion. We meet at Faith Presbyterian Church, 1314 E. Oltorf Street, Austin, TX 78704 (which shares their buildings with Wildflower UU). The meeting takes place in the "parlor room" (first building on the right as you enter from Oltorf Street).
