The Heat is On!!!

Calling fans of all things spicy! If you don't want to deal with long tasting lines and battling for parking at the annual Austin Hot Sauce Festival, come beat the Texas August heat by joining your fellow foodies for an afternoon of sweat (our bodies' natural "air conditioning" system!), beverages, and delicious spicy foods, sauces, and salsas! :)

What to Bring

Please post on the comment section what you plan to bring. I'll be bringing a peach-mango-habeñero (from my garden!) salsa and some organic corn chips.

• ANYTHING spicy, but preferably fresh or made by your skilled culinary hands and brilliance. Examples: fresh chili peppers, chili powder, hot sauces, or salsas, spicy chocolate cookies, spicy bread, spicy cheese, spicy strawberry-lemonade—you get the gist. :)

• Small Tupperware containers or mason jars in case you'd like any of the sauces, salsas, or chili powders.

Meeting Spot

• Meeting spot is currently set for Central Market, but suggestions are welcome! We'd preferably like to be outside, but shaded or in an area with dappled light and a breeze. Do you have an amazing outdoor patio/balcony (and friendly pets) that can accommodate a small group of 10-12 people? Please send me a message.

• You can purchase your cold beverage from Central Market before joining us outside on the deck.
