“What’s Authentic Relating?"

Authentic Relating (AR) Games are highly interactive exercises done in pairs where conversations are directed toward a more real you. When we go out in the world it is important to be able to keep our privacy, boundaries, and professionalism but authenticity can be a strange thing to keep our eyes on. Too much guardedness held too regularly can numb us to a more vivacious self inside of us, one that needs a worthy listening and appropriate venue. But we need to stop saving the heartfelt and most real conversations for weddings and funerals, right? These games are incredibly designed to release that deeper you in a non-dramatic way to, surprise, more wonderful listening than most of us get in our day to day.

I’m Michael Blas and I’ve been facilitating practices for connection for the last six years. I have a Master’s Degree in Industrial Psychology and I have a fierce passion for helping people learn tools for amping up the intimacy in their lives. I’ve facilitated these practices one on one, in large groups, for companies, for modern monks, and even facilitated a wedding where the bride got to tell her mother-in-law how she felt when mama spoke to her.

"Do I need to bring a partner?"

NO! We'll switch partners a lot through the night.

"Is this an orgy or a singles meet-up?"

No but what fun things happen after a bunch of gay men meet each other and actually get to know each other...is all up to you.

"Can married guys come?"

You're encouraged to come! This event has no agenda other than getting gay men, single or attached, to find more authentic connection. Come if you're ready to be surprised at how easy it can be to connect with people in authenticity.
